Colleen Bauer
Day Program Director
Colleen has lived in southern Wisconsin for seven years with her family of six, comprising of three daughters, and a son, two of whom were adopted from Haiti, and her husband Michael of 24 years. She values family vacations and has worked at Agape House for four years, experiencing faith-driven growth every year. Her professional focus is teen relational building and trauma healing. Colleen's leisure activities include retreats, concerts, socializing, seasonal decorating, and spiritual enrichment with her Heavenly Father.
Jerry Berger
Day Program Teacher
Jerry Berger holds both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Vocal Music Education, and has been an educator for over 25 years. He is active in his church, where he sings on the worship team, assists in Waves Kids church, and leads the youngest of the Royal Rangers boys. He is excited to be a part of the Agape House family, and to serve the staff and students with love, compassion and humor!
He and his wife, Happi, have been married for nearly 25 years, and have three sons, ages 22, 18, and 10. They also have two rescue dogs, Milo and Tess.
Jerry enjoys watching and quoting movies, serving the Lord, listening to good podcasts and audiobooks, spending time at home and playing games with his family.
Favorite scriptures are:
Psalm 19:14: "May these words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer."
Isaiah 43:19: "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
