Teacher
The primary teacher will have a heart for the Agape House ministry. Coming alongside teens from hard places, the ideal candidate will be able to problem solve with students in the moment and counsel them as emotional and behavioral concerns arise to help them overcome academic barriers. Beginning each morning with devotion, the teacher will help the students transition into their core academic classes. While students are self-paced with their learning, some may require one-on-one instruction. Guidance towards credit recovery, testing assistance, academic readiness and overseeing current curriculum will be essential keys to this position.
