“The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind – just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, so they might be one heart and mind with Us. Then the world might believe that You, in fact, sent Me. The same glory You gave Me, I gave them, so they’ll be as unified and together as We are – I in them and You in Me. Then they’ll be mature in this oneness, and give the godless world evidence that You’ve sent Me and loved them in the same way You’ve loved Me.” ~ John 17:20-23

Dear Friends:
I am drawn to the beauty of this single flower, a paper white, and the starkness of it against the winter background! It reminds me of the fact that God is in me, and that together we can do great things in this world. But, if I didn’t know God and His presence in my life, I would see this flower in a different perspective; I would see loneliness, emptiness, and a sense of being lost, in spite of the external beauty of this flower. I had those feelings at one time in my life, but I am no longer lonely, empty or lost because of my relationship with God, and the knowledge that He is with me always!

When our teens come to Agape, most of them have that sense of being lonely, empty and lost, not knowing God or the beauty of a relationship with Him. But, with your prayers, support and encouragement, together, we are all helping them find their way to that special relationship with God!

Praise God For:
~ His immeasurable love for us, and how much He desires for us to be in relationship with Him!
~ All of you who are helping these teens in a variety of ways, that continue to amaze us: Meal Providers – you provide nourishment for the body, which leads to so much more; Donors – you allow God to use your gifts to meet the financial needs of this ministry, so that no child is ever turned away because of finances; Volunteers – you provide our teens with an amazing insight into your hearts, and thus, the heart of Jesus, as you serve in so many ways, from office help, to maintenance tasks, to painting, to shoveling snow, to sharing your gifts and teaching a life skill class; to coming alongside of them to make meals together; to the donations of items on our wish/need lists, and so much more.
~ The joy of seeing progress being made in the lives of our teens and their families, and that the efforts and prayers of all are bearing fruit!

Pray For:
~ Our teens to see His light and love through each one of us, as we come alongside of them to point them to Him.
~ Our staff, Board, volunteers, supporters, teens and families of all to be strengthened, comforted, healed and blessed, as we go forth in our little Agape House community, to know God’s presence, and the joy of all that He offers to each one of us.
~ Each teen residing at Agape individually, by name, as led by the Holy Spirit: Anna, Aliya, Angel, Brooke, Chris, Jack, Jayden, Jon, Josh, Kwame, Kylie, Macie, Mae, and Molly.

I hope you enjoy the photos below of our girls enjoying indoor and outdoor activities. Just a reminder, we have very few photos of the boys due to requests for privacy.

Blessings . . .
Jan

PS: Please save the date for our 5K: April 24, 2021… this
event will be both in-person and virtually. We are so excited to see you there!
