After Labor Day, we’ll be back to regular hours!
Dear Friends:
“Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness are blessed,
for they will be filled.” ~ Matthew 5:6.
Pursuing righteousness means that we value the opinion of God far more than we treasure the opinions of people. Righteousness is not merely an absence of sin; it is also about allowing God to fill us with His Holiness. Only Christ’s righteousness can satisfy us; but we cannot be filled with righteousness if we are filled with self.
Please Pray:
~ for Agape House as we prepare to open the doors on Sunday, September 3rd for the girls to return to the Home as we begin the new school year; pray for His spirit to flow through this ministry, and pray for the participants in our program to desire to be filled with His righteousness.
~ for our new staff at Agape House, as they prepare for this new journey, pray that they lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all their heart and mind, not relying on their own insight or understanding.
~ for the staff as we hold our In-Service meetings next week, that we will be renewed in His strength, wisdom and discernment as we move forth into a new year.
~ for Agape House as we pursue a different avenue for the Junior High Home, as we had some unresolved issues with our previous plan. We are trusting that God has a different purpose and plan, and pray that He will direct our steps accordingly for this much-needed space.

~ for His holy, satisfying righteousness!
~ for the donation of items on our Wish List lately: outdoor equipment and items to fill our Welcome Bags for new girls!
~ for so many volunteers who have stepped forth to help us with a multitude of tasks as we put the finishing touches on tasks that need to be completed.
