God wants us to spend time in His presence; He does not expect us to work through the difficulties we have in our lives on our own. How awesome is that!

Please Pray:
~ for our girls to recognize the joy of this Scripture, and seek Him for all that they desire.

~ for our girls to enjoy their summer break, while continuing to work on their goals, which will lead them to fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for their lives.

~ for the girls/families God desires to take part in this program in the Fall, that He will touch their hearts and bring them through our doors.

Praise God:
~ We are excited to share with you that our 2017 Capital Campaign has been very successful! Therefore,

1) We are proceeding with the purchase of a new HVAC system for the school, and are working diligently to complete this project over the summer months. See our note below about the need for helpers with this project.

2) It looks like we will be opening a Jr. High Girls Home for the 2017-18 school year. Watch for details to follow!

It is pure joy to watch God answer prayers, as we trust Him to lead and guide us every step of the way!

We are in need of a couple of more staff for the 2017-18 school year, and hope you will help us spread the word. We are looking for a full-time, live-in House Mom and an intern to come alongside of our Home staff. WORK DAYS:

We are looking for volunteers to help us with the prep and finishing work for the installation of our new HVAC system in the school, as follows:

• Manual Labor: Dismantle and remove boiler system and pipes;
• Carpentry: Build 2 closets to house the new units and finishing work after the installation is complete;
• Electrical: Run power to the A/C units (this can be done before or after the installation).

If you are able and willing to help, on Saturday, July 8th, Saturday, July 22nd, or any other day in between those dates, please contact Bob Milliman at (815) 404-1629.

Acrylic Paints
Plastic chairs for the outdoors
Bean Bag Chairs for the Home (up to 6); the girls love sitting on these in the dorm and/or home area
Computer (up to 2 years old – does not need to be new) for use in the Home
Outdoor table and chairs with umbrella (used will work just fine)
Outdoor equipment: badminton set, balls (football, basketball, volleyball), ladder ball, bean bag toss, jump ropes, frisbees;
Deck box for storage of outdoor equipment
