Boys School to Open Monday September 16th
Help Needed this Saturday
8:30 am – 12:30 pm
at 119 Phillips Avenue, Walworth
The Boys School will be starting on Monday! Can you offer your time to help this ministry embrace it’s new season of healing for all teens? Whoever can help or if you know anyone that can help we will be putting the final touches together Saturday September 14th. We need painting, cleaning, and organizing of the boys school and home.
Dear Friends,
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.”
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1
As the new school year begins, I would like to send praises to the Lord for all the wonderful staff, families, students and things, He has already provided for us. The 2019-2020 school year brings about changes in our ministry. With the boys school and home opening their doors this Monday, I am grateful to be a member of this amazing staff.
I asked the girls what they would like for prayers and ideas about what I should address. They were very willing to come up with some great ideas and topics.
The students are asking for prayer in these areas:
With some of them being away from home and not having contact with their families, asking that the Lord to take away the worry about what is going on at home without them. That God would send healing to those with health issues and that are receiving medical attention. Lord, bring these students peace and allow them to concentrate on their healing.
That the goals they have set can be achieved with grace and ease. May the Lord open their minds to receive the education and healing. Walk with them Lord, as they navigate right from wrong. Help them to to seek you in making the right decisions. Bring unity to them and may they create a strong sisterhood and brotherhood filled with love and understanding. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity.” ~Psalm 133:1
My heart was filled with joy, at these requests. With this new season and time, I marvel at the way God has already touch some of these children’s lives. I feel the Lord’s embrace as I continue to walk beside each of them. 3 John 1:4 says, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
Witnessing His truth being welcomed into these precious children’s hearts, is one ofΒ the most rewarding parts of my involvement in this ministry. Here’s to a season of healing and learning.
Please keep in your prayers, the boys school and home, as this is truly a new season.
Blessings,
