Dear Friends:

“Train up a child in the way he should go
[and in keeping with his individual gift or bent],
and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
~ Proverbs 22:6

This Scripture is so important for us to remember, and I especially love the emphasis about each child’s individual gift. It is with great delight that we watch our girls at Agape explore and enjoy their individual gifts, and we are blessed with many volunteers who help them to expand upon those gifts.

Another area we are grateful for our volunteers is with the lunch program. We have faithful volunteers providing lunch 4 days a week. It is a huge blessing to the girls to see God’s people who continually care about helping to meet their needs. We are in need of a few more helpers; if you feel led to help out in this way, please contact Debby at the school (262.394.5043) for more details. Some of our volunteers bring the lunch, serve it and sit with the girls. Others prepare the meal and drop it off on their way to work in the morning. Individuals provide this blessing, as well as different organizations who work together as a group to meet this need. Thank you for your consideration of this request.

Please Pray:
~ for the God-given gifts each one of our precious girls have received from God, and the joy of watching them use these gifts to their fullest potential.

~ for our staff and volunteers, and the many issues of concern each of us are dealing with, often feeling like being under attack, while continuing to serve in this ministry.

~ for our girls and their families to draw close to God, trusting Him to lead them and guide them as they go forth this year.

Praise God:
~ for your servants who meet the needs of so many people in a variety of ways; we could not do the ministry work necessary at Agape House without the help of our invaluable volunteers!

~ for God’s word and the training up of our children in the way they should go, knowing it will stay with them forever.

~ for time spent on Pleasant Lake on a recent outing. For some girls, kayaking was a new adventure! In spite of the overcast skies and cooler temperatures, the girls enjoyed themselves.

Blessings . . .
Jan
