~ Isaiah 9:6. At Agape House, we are emphasizing to our young ladies that this is the reason for the Christmas season. It’s so easy to become distracted by the ‘Black Friday’ specials, and many other sales presented to us. Or we might get caught up in the decorating, cookie baking, shopping, writing cards, wrapping gifts, etc. What a beautiful teaching opportunity for us, as our precious Agape Angels are learning who they are in Christ, and how much God loves each one of them.

Please Pray for:
~ Christmas to be different for our Agape Angels this year because it is all about the birth of Jesus.

~ our girls and families to understand who the true enemy is, and that they stop fighting with staff, parents, etc.

~ for God’s healing touch upon the girls, staff, and families – the need for prayers in this area is great!

Praise God for:
~ for the joy of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and understanding why this is so important.

~ for God’s protection around the girls and parents as they all adapt to new truths and ways to process what is going on in their lives as they come to know how much God loves them.

~ God, our great Physician, whom we can turn to for healing of our deepest hurts!

~ For the joy of lunchtime with friends! It’s been very busy around here this week. In addition to preparations taking place for our Open House on Sunday, one day the girls were helping decorate the 9′ Christmas tree in the Sanctuary, and at the same time, we had volunteers working on a roof repair project outside. We love when our volunteers join us for lunch; it’s a small way we can show our appreciation for their service!

Clipping Box Tops is an easy way to help earn cash for our school. Each one is worth 10¢ for our school! Just look for the pink Box Tops on hundreds of products. All you have to do is clip them and drop them in one of the collection jars located at the Home, School, Counseling Center and Transitional Home. Or if you live out of town just save them up for a couple months and mail to the school. This school year, our goal is to earn $1,000! That money will be used to pay for art, music, and computers for the school as those items are not in the regular budget.
